About us
Founded to help. Built to last.
Aid to Educate Inc. was founded to help those who are less fortunate get the supplies and knowledge needed to become more self-dependent — for people of all ages, in communities everywhere.
"Supplies without knowledge is charity. Knowledge without supplies is theory. The two together are transformation."
Our mission
Aid to Educate Inc. exists to help those who are less fortunate get the supplies and obtain the knowledge needed to become more self-dependent. We do not target a specific age group — we aim to help people of all ages. Whilst providing supplies and necessities, we also help educate communities on various matters that increase their knowledge, so they'll be able to fend for themselves.
Where we come from
Aid to Educate Inc. was founded on a simple belief: that those who are less fortunate deserve both the supplies and the knowledge to become more self-dependent. From the beginning, the mission was broad by design — Aid to Educate does not target a specific age group. It aims to help people of all ages, because the need for education, resources, and opportunity does not stop at any particular birthday.
We provide aid in the form of food, water, books, stationeries, and other necessities. We educate communities on matters that increase their knowledge. And when disaster strikes, we show up — with food, water, cleanup, and repair — thoughtfully planned to fit each community's unique situation.
We document everything. Photography, videography, and social media are part of how we hold ourselves accountable and bring more awareness to the work. Every dollar raised is a dollar with a purpose — and we report on it.
What we believe
Honesty over hype
We are a new organization. We say so plainly. We will share what is working, what is not, and what we are learning — because donors and partners deserve the truth.
Community first
We work in partnership with local leaders, families, and educators. The communities we serve are not recipients — they are collaborators.
Every person by name
We will never be so large that we lose sight of the individual. Every person we serve has a story, not a statistic in a report.
Thoughtful by design
Services provided for each area are carefully planned to fit that area's unique situation. We do not arrive with a fixed model and impose it.
The people behind the work
Aid to Educate is led by a small, dedicated team of volunteers, advocates, and believers committed to helping communities become more self-sufficient.
